We are hosting our AGM on 18th March, 7pm at Long Lee Village Hall. Get the date in your diary. We will be celebrating and sharing highlights from last year's projects, events and achievements as well as sharing information on our woodland management plans for the year ahead. The evening will start with refreshments and a social catch up, followed by a short talk on plans for conserving Park Wood as a local nature reserve. Come and find out more! Everyone is welcome!  In the autumn of 2025, we delivered a free Dry Stone Walling course in Park Wood, where volunteers learned how to repair and rebuild a section of wall that had fallen into disrepair. The course was led by Louise Kirkbride from the Dry Stone Walling Association and was funded through a grant from the Keighley Big Local Partnership. The aim of the project was to restore the wall using traditional methods while passing on valuable dry stone walling skills to local people. As the photos show, the volunteers did an excellent job! |
