Are you keen to work outside, meet new people or interested in woodland conservation? Then why not come and help the Friends of Park Wood.
We meet on the first Saturday of the month and are looking for volunteers to help with path clearing and tidying around the trees. No experience is necessary! If outdoor work is not for you, we also meet bi-monthly on the last Wednesday of the month to discuss future developments & projects. Your contribution is welcome. annual general meeting - 26th march
Friends of Park Wood are excited to announce our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2025, which will be held on 26th March at 7.30pm at Long Lee Methodist Chapel. This event offers you the opportunity to connect, learn about what we’ve done over the past year, and contribute to sharing memories of our wonderful woodland. Everyone welcome!

MEMORIES OF PARK WOOD
Friends of Park Wood have been out and about all Summer collecting people's memories of Park Wood from over the decades. The collected memories will feature in a first edition booklet to celebrate Park Wood's past and history. Huge thanks to everyone on the Memories Team for all their work on this project!
