“Still have happy memories of Parkwood way over here on the other side of the world. We lived at Long Lee before eventually moving down to Keighley. As kids we would have picnics in Park wood.. it was like a fairyland to us.”

“Born & raised on Parkwood in 60s and 70s, it was a far nicer place to live as children then. Bradford Council ruined it by allowing wooden fencing to be placed along Kendal St and trees and shrubs to be planted up the hillside, which prevents people (especially children) being able to enjoy the area. The whole hillside was a great and healthy playground we could run freely, grass slides in summer, sledging in winter, all taken away.
Drove on Kendal St last week, rubbish everywhere and fly tipped debris at the end of Kendal St near Quarry Street.”
