PETER WILBY 2013

(Parts of text cut off from email) ...

Moved into Lynwood Spring Ave in 1960s.

I recall workers clomping down the wood path to the mills. In snow they used to……………..fire grates.

For a short period of time there was a small herd of cows grazed in the wood, needing a cowherds …………………….unfenced.

A man called Ed used to cook the ramsones.

I recall large flocks of bramblings in the wood and a ‘fruity warbler'.
