Friends of Park Wood have been awarded one of the Skipton Building Society's Big 160 Grassroots Giving Grants!  We have been given £500 to spend on equipment we need to help maintain and continue our work preserving the beauty of Park Wood.

A big thank you to Skipton Building Society and all the people who voted for our cause and have supported us along the way.  We'll keep you all updated on what the grant has helped us achieve.

Friends of Park Wood have made it to the final stages of getting a £500 grant from Skipton Building Society.  We need to get as many votes as possible to be able to win the money for our group.  No signing up required - just a click!

The funding would allow us to purchase equipment that we are currently lacking, helping us to maintain and conserve the natural woodland. 

This equipment will help with litter picking, sawing and lopping which all help to improve the overall beauty of the woods.

Park Wood is right in the middle of the Keighley Valley Big Local area, Friends of Park Wood will be attending Big Local meetings to share in the conversation about how the money can be spent.

Keighley Town Council have kindly given Friends of Park Wood funding to spend on repairing the dry stone walling in the wood.
