Today Mark Doveston of DoveNature gave five of us a guided bird walk round Park Wood.
It was windy so fewer birds than last year were about but we identified 17 species: wren, blackcap, robin, great tit, chiff-chaff, wood pigeon, spotted flycatcher, crow, blackbird, jackdaw, great spotted woodpecker, willow warbler, common gull, jay, magpie, dunnock and goldcrest.
